Job Overview:

Location: 931 South Highland Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719


Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime and weekend flexibility required)

As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in optimizing technician effectiveness, improving maintenance processes, and reducing the total cost of ownership. You will independently prioritize and plan maintenance work, lead root cause analyses, manage CMMS planning, and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work in collaboration with multiple departments.

  • Identify job resources and assemble work packages (instructions, schematics, parts lists, etc.).

  • Analyze maintenance history and lead root cause analysis for recurring issues.

  • Manage CMMS (SAP preferred) for proactive maintenance planning and work order management.

  • Maintain and organize TPM documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records.

  • Develop preventive maintenance (PM) programs, spare parts lists, and kitting strategies.

  • Generate and track maintenance KPIs, reporting performance and improvement areas.

  • Coordinate contractor bids, schedules, and performance tracking.

  • Conduct weekly PM audits and report findings to leadership.

  • Lead the Maintenance Day Program—plan schedules, facilitate meetings, and report outcomes.

  • Maintain temporary repair logs, service agreements, and technical documentation.

  • Partner with maintenance and production teams to minimize unplanned downtime.

  • Engage daily with line mechanics to review PM needs, work orders, and parts requirements.


Total Rewards:
  • Starting pay:$21.00 - $26.00 per hour. Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years in maintenance planning (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient CMMS user (SAP experience strongly preferred).

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Clear technical communication and documentation skills.

    • Demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.

    • Strong safety mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
