Manager, National Sales & Fountain Business Development

Sales Away from Home -Food Service

Permanent, Full-Time,

Mississauga, Hybrid, 3 days a week in office

As a Manager, National Sales & Fountain Business Development at Keurig Dr Pepper Canada, you will have the responsibility for managing and leading business development with some of our largest operators in the Foodservice segment. The NSM’s are directly responsible for delivering profit and revenue targets regionally, along with managing forecasting, promotions, and brand growth. In this role the individual will work with internal stakeholders (Marketing- Sales- RGM- and Finance) to assist in growing the Foodservice business for several large customers. This role also requires Prior experience and expertise in large format CSD and solid account management skills. In addition, they will work closely with our Field Sales Broker model and guide them to success in their respective regions under the oversight of the Sr Manager of Canadian Sales.  

This position requires exemplary sales talent; and the applicant should have a strong understanding of the Foodservice industry- including distribution, operator banners and associated relationships. They will draw on their experience, knowledge of the industry and trade to work with their manager to develop & negotiate programs with their assigned Operators. This individual must have good communication skills and the ability to communicate with several levels of management both internal and external. The individual must have strong influencing skills and superior executional capabilities. Being able to bring ideas forward and share your passion and expertise for this segment of the CPG industry will be invaluable in the role.

Day to Day Tasks

  • Management of several large accounts within the Foodservice space and overall portfolio including achieving revenue, profit, and volume targets across our full portfolio of brands.
  • Fountain Soft Drink Business Development Lead
  • Build Customer business plans with key strategies to sustain growth. Present business plans to senior management both internally and externally.
  • Provide clear communication to our broker sales teams on program executions, managing KPI’s within the region for street level & distributor accounts.
  • Work with the Sr Manager of Canadian Sales to develop and execute in-depth business plans by account to deliver commitments.
  • Responsible for managing all matters for listing products at accounts- including working with RGM, Marketing and Omni teams to implement pricing action and marketing programs.
  • Manage and negotiate all spend at account level including Brand Marketing funds and deliver to budget.
  • Analyze and share CRM results with invested parties.
  • Prepare Top- to- Top business reviews for senior customer and KDP management.
  • Broadline Distribution Management
  • Execute on boarding of brand innovation and strategies to broker sales teams.
  • Work Cross functionally within the AFH team and other invested parties at KDP in a collaborative and team atmosphere.


Responsibilities:

What We Are Looking For

  • CSD Experience in large format/Food Service
  • 5-10 years of Food Service sales- category &, account management
  • Strong understanding of the Foodservice industry & customer knowledge
  • Advanced proficiency in use of MS office - especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing & interpreting data (Excel)
  • Motivated and driven to find solutions and efficiencies.
  • Love of all thing’s beverage… both hot and cold
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and US as required.
  • Desire to work both in person from a corporate office, as well as from home as deemed necessary. (Minimum 3 days per week in office)
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
