With a portfolio of 125+ iconic brands—including Dr Pepper®, Canada Dry®, Snapple®, Bai®, Mott’s®, CORE Hydration® and more—we are one of the largest food and beverage companies in the U.S. We put the consumer at the heart of everything we do, and our marketing team plays a critical role in delivering brand growth and long‑term category leadership.

We are seeking a Senior Associate Brand Manager (Sr. ABM) to accelerate the performance of one of our flagship brands. This role expands on the Associate Brand Manager position by taking on greater strategic responsibility, deeper cross‑functional leadership, and ownership of complex programs that drive brand and business results.

This role is based at the KDP headquarters in Frisco, Texas, with 10–15% travel and relocation required to the Greater Dallas area.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Associate Brand Manager, you will be a high‑impact individual contributor responsible for leading major brand initiatives, informing long‑term strategy, and partnering across the organization to bring growth plans to life. You will demonstrate a general manager mindset, balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

Brand & Business Leadership

  • Lead development of annual and multi‑year brand strategies using robust consumer insights, category trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Own business performance monitoring, diagnosing drivers across consumption, shipments, pricing, and media performance to inform leadership decisions.
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable, integrated annual operating plans.

Marketing & Commercial Execution

  • Lead major cross‑functional initiatives (innovation, communications, commercial programs, packaging updates, etc.) with limited supervision.
  • Serve as the day‑to‑day lead with agency partners, elevating creative excellence, media effectiveness, and in‑market execution.
  • Partner with shopper marketing, sales, and commercial teams to activate brand programs across key retail customers.

Insights & Analytics

  • Leverage consumer research, syndicated data, KPI tracking, and financial modeling to build data‑backed recommendations.
  • Proactively develop optimization plans based on ROI, media effectiveness, pricing performance, and competitive actions.

Budget & Investment Management

  • Manage substantial brand budgets, ensuring disciplined allocation of resources to drive short‑ and long‑term growth.
  • Present budget recommendations and trade‑off decisions to managers and cross‑functional leadership.

Leadership & Influence

  • Mentor Associate Brand Managers and interns, supporting capability building across the broader marketing team.
  • Influence cross‑functional partners—including Insights, R&D, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain—through clear storytelling and strong business cases.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $86,000-140,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:

We are seeking leaders who use data‑informed judgment, excel at cross‑functional influence, and thrive at bringing bold ideas to life.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 4–6 years of brand marketing or brand management experience, ideally within a Fortune 500 CPG company
  • Demonstrated experience owning cross‑functional initiatives end‑to‑end
  • Strong analytical capability with comfort interpreting consumer, financial, and market data
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong presence and ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
  • Proven experience developing and executing brand strategies grounded in consumer insights
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
