We are seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Engineer with deep expertise in End User Computing (EUC) and Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) to design, implement, and optimize digital workplace technologies for a Fortune 500–scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of engineering and delivering enterprise-grade solutions that enhance productivity, security, and user experience for a global workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Architecture
- Design, engineer, and implement digital workplace solutions covering EUC platforms (Windows, macOS, VDI, mobile, endpoint management, application delivery) and UCC platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, enterprise telephony, video conferencing).
- Develop scalable architectures that support a global user base with high availability, security, and performance.
- Operational Excellence
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues within EUC and UCC domains.
- Partner with service operations teams to ensure smooth day-to-day support, lifecycle management, and optimization of collaboration and endpoint platforms.
- Drive automation, monitoring, and self-healing solutions to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Innovation & Strategy
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors to define digital workplace roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging workplace technologies that enable hybrid and remote work models, improve collaboration, and enhance end-user productivity.
- Champion user experience, accessibility, and adoption of workplace tools.
- Security & Compliance
- Integrate security and compliance requirements into digital workplace solutions (e.g., endpoint security, data protection, compliance with SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Partner with InfoSec to implement policies, monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Governance & Documentation
- Maintain design documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational runbooks.
- Define and enforce governance for EUC and UCC services, including device standards, collaboration policies, and naming conventions.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of engineering experience in EUC and UCC technologies at a Fortune 500 company or equivalent scale enterprise.
- Expertise with:
- EUC: Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS/Android, Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Citrix/VMware VDI, application packaging and distribution, device lifecycle management.
- UCC: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, enterprise telephony (SIP, VoIP, PBX), video conferencing systems, meeting room technologies.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts related to collaboration (QoS, SBCs, session management).
- Demonstrated experience with PowerShell, automation frameworks, and scripting for EUC/UCC administration.
- Proven success designing and deploying solutions supporting 50,000+ global users in hybrid or remote environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Expert, Citrix/VMware, ITIL, Cisco Collaboration) strongly desired.
