Job Overview:
Do you get excited about turning messy, complex data into something people can trust—and then seeing that work power analytics, AI, and better decisions? At Keurig Dr Pepper, this is an opportunity to do more than support a data strategy. You’ll help shape it and put it into practice.
Our Enterprise Data Management team is building KDP’s trusted, connected, AI-ready data foundation. As a Data Management Analyst, you’ll work hands-on across modern enterprise technologies—including Databricks and Unity Catalog, Snowflake and Horizon, and the Data Uncapped Marketplace powered by Alation—to help define how data is governed, understood, measured, and reused across the company. You’ll work with real enterprise data and real business problems, helping turn standards into scalable patterns that make high-quality data discoverable and ready for analytics, copilots, and AI agents.
This is a great opportunity for a curious data enthusiast who wants exposure across the full data lifecycle: profiling data, investigating anomalies, defining quality rules, tracing lineage, building trusted metadata, and helping teams turn raw information into governed data products. You won’t just inherit a finished playbook—you’ll contribute to the practices, tools, and standards that shape KDP’s evolving enterprise data strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Help put KDP’s enterprise data strategy into action by applying and improving standards for naming, classification, documentation, and Bronze/Silver/Gold data quality tiers
  • Work hands-on with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Snowflake Horizon, and Alation to connect business meaning, technical metadata, lineage, quality, and governance across the data ecosystem
  • Explore and profile complex enterprise datasets, write and version data quality rules, publish scorecards, and follow issues all the way to root cause and resolution
  • Help create trusted, reusable data products by making definitions, ownership, lineage, quality expectations, and business context clear and discoverable
  • Curate the governed context that powers AI agents, copilots, and natural-language analytics—including certified definitions, metrics, approved knowledge sources, and provenance
  • Analyze data across systems, including SAP, to uncover duplicates, conflicting definitions, and opportunities to strengthen master data and enterprise consistency
  • Classify and protect sensitive data, including PII, confidential, and SOX-relevant information, while maintaining audit-ready evidence
  • Complete governance activities for new data sources and products, including Technical Impact Assessment and Stage Gate materials
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, product teams, business owners, and a federated steward network to solve data problems and influence how KDP manages data at scale
  • Help measure the health of KDP’s data foundation through metadata completeness, glossary coverage, quality scores, stewardship, and policy compliance

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $76,400 - $105,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or equivalent experience; Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business preferred
  • Prior experience in data management, data governance, data quality, master data, or data analysis
  • Hands-on data quality experience: profiling, rule writing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of metadata management, business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data lineage
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort with large, complex datasets
  • Understanding of how data and metadata ground AI, including RAG, semantic layers, and agent context
  • A curious, investigative mindset—you enjoy finding out why data does not look right and working across business and technology teams to fix the underlying problem
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation discipline, and organization; ability to manage multiple priorities with business and technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Alation, Collibra, Informatica, or Purview experience
  • Databricks (Unity Catalog), Snowflake (Horizon), and medallion/lakehouse design
  • Python for profiling and automating governance tasks
  • DAMA-DMBOK familiarity; CDMP certification is a plus
  • Master data or SAP experience; SOX, GDPR/CCPA exposure
  • Experience curating RAG sources, metric definitions, or context for AI agents
  • Agile delivery (Scrum/SAFe, Jira) and CPG, manufacturing, or supply chain experience
