Job Overview:

As the Quality Supervisor, you will provide daily leadership and supervision to a team of Quality Technicians, ensuring quality plans and food safety initiatives are successfully executed. You will be responsible for supporting production through quality audits, data analysis, training, and problem-solving using quality tools and statistical methods. Your work will help ensure products and processes meet Keurig Dr Pepper’s standards and regulatory requirements, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Compensation: This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Compensation is flexible and determined by the candidate's experience level.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance Technicians, managing workload distribution, training, and employee relations.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to quality and food safety initiatives aligned with customer expectations, product development, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Maintain plant readiness for inspections, ensuring compliance with all internal, regulatory, third-party, partner, and certification audit requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality performance data to inform operating teams and prioritize quality-related actions.
  • Support and deliver training on quality procedures, policies, and testing protocols to QA teams and plant personnel.
  • Conduct audits and quality tests alongside operations and QA staff to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Evaluate production processes for consistency with specifications and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records and reports, including customer complaints and internal issues, to track performance and communicate priorities.
  • Apply quality tools (e.g., cause and effect analysis, process mapping, statistical methods) to troubleshoot and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor QC performance related to labeling, packaging, and product information to ensure compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper and customer requirements.
  • Facilitate daily resolutions to production quality issues and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Maintain and utilize quality databases for tracking, analysis, and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure all staff understand their responsibility to report food safety and quality issues and are empowered to initiate action.
  • Ensure the production of safe, wholesome, and high-quality products, delegating responsibilities as needed to trained designees.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new QA team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (highly preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a quality or product development role, preferably within the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing quality plans that meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality goals.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, ISO principles, Food Defense, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and initiative.
  • Skilled in creating protocols, reports, and training materials.
  • Proactive, self-motivated leader with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
