Job Overview:

The Bottler Activation Manager will be dedicated to supporting the CASO Division Sales Managers (Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages & Swire Coca-Cola) and aligned Bottlers to drive volume, revenue, profit and share results within the Coke Route to Market Sales system.  Primary objectives include customizing and embedding KDP initiatives into the bottler’s commercial processes to ensure alignment and accountability, while optimizing in-store/in-market execution.  This role will be responsible for driving a consistent “look of success” with display, cooler schematics, merchandising standards, etc. for KDP brands within their specific bottlers, as well as communicate aligned commercial plans through all levels of field sales and bottler organization (MU/Branch level commercial and sales leads)

This role will be in located in either the Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT areas, with approximately 15%-20% travel. Primary Bottler responsibilities will be Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Swire Coca-Cola USA.

Key Accountabilities

  • Customize brand marketing/operating plan information into the commercial sales and communication processes for the bottlers
    • Big Bets, Innovation, Brand and Package opportunities, OBM development
  • Ensure clear communication of all authorized KDP programs, promotions, plans, timelines and executional expectations in conjunction with our regional sales team.
  • Support the KDP/Bottler plans by developing relevant local tools that will help enhance the overarching plan and drive incremental volume, revenue, share and awareness of KDP brands with the bottlers
  • Include all KDP initiatives in the bottlers “Look of Success”/PiCOS tool to promote alignment and maximize execution at store level
  • Support the annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) process for key bottlers partners and implement JBP disciplines
  • Budget responsibilities in conjunction with the Division Sales Managers to support local promotions and tool development
  • Key connection point for HQ Bottler Activation Director to provide Voice of Customer feedback from bottlers on KDP initiatives
  • Develop business relationships with Bottlers Sales Leadership and Commercial teams to identify opportunities and promote “Best In Class” execution in the market
  • Identify process, tools, and/or technologies to improve efficiencies and align resources to deploy those solutions as quickly as possible.
  • Monitor performance, inspect what we expect and ensure team is behaving within expectations.
  • Improve communication commercially working with cross-functional teams to eliminate redundancies.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range $96,800 - $145,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Beverage or Consumer Product Sales and Commercial Experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Previous beverage field sales operations and activation experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency a must (MS Office; Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Previous experience with Syndicated Data including IRI or AC Nielsen
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented, and flexible; enjoy working in a high performance and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
