The Keurig Dr Pepper Company has an opportunity for a National Account Executive, on our Dollar Tree and Specialty team leading our fast-growing Direct-to-Store and our Warehouse Direct business. This position will serve as the primary interface with your customers and will be accountable for building strategic relationships that deliver consistent and sustainable category-leading growth, revenue, and profit.
This role requires high customer connectivity and strategic relationship management. The right candidate is a strategic thinker, disciplined planner and reliable implementer with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and solve complex customer challenges.
Core Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with operational excellence, measured by growth of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop multi-level customer relationships to strengthen category-leading growth plans, selling incremental distribution, merchandising and winning sales programs.
- Partner with cross-functional team (Marketing, Finance, Category and Product Teams) to build strategic long-term business plans rooted in consumer and shopping habits while maximizing our ever-expanding portfolio.
- Sell win-win solutions that strengthen the partnership while protecting KDP’s financial goals. Negotiate when necessary.
Role Scope:
- Serve as the primary liaison to your customers, cultivating relationships across buyer, category, and leadership levels.
- Develop and present clear, compelling, data-backed business plans that align with consumer and shopper insights.
- Engage internal stakeholders—Marketing, Category Management, RGM, Product, and the Bottling Network—to bring the best of KDP to the table.
- Act as an internal champion for the business, translating customer priorities into coordinated, cross-functional action.
Total Rewards:
- Salary range $116,100 - $170,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive sales or account management experience, ideally in CPG, Beverage, or a Fortune 500 environment.
- Dollar Tree experience is a strong plus—you know the retailer’s culture, priorities, and pace.
- Proven track record of building strategic account plans and delivering measurable revenue and profit growth.
- Strong financial acumen: you’re comfortable owning a P&L and making data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communicator and presenter—you can inspire a room of executives as easily as you can align a cross-functional working team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analysis, storytelling, and planning.
- This role will require 10-20% travel
