Job Overview:

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our winning sales team in the Northeast. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) serves as the front-line facilitator and execution arm of the joint business plan for KDP’s Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales Organization (CASO) bottling partners to achieve assigned volume, share, and profit targets across all channels of trade. 

The ideal candidate works closely with bottler field sales and marketing teams, managing direct store delivery relationships and overseeing regional key account calls. The RSM will drive the business strategy and disciplines required to manage an effective coverage program supporting the KDP and bottler partnership(s) while operating within assigned budgets and compliance disciplines.

The ideal candidate will be based in New Hampshire.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and execute key business building opportunities around availability, distribution, promotion, display, merchandising, and pricing that will support volume and share growth for KDP.
  • Create, build and maintain strong partnerships with Bottlers and Retailers to grow the KDP Portfolio in assigned territory.
  • Align system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget.
  • Communicate with our Bottling Partners to execute in trade with upcoming promotional programs and activities.
  • Apply company sales strategies in assigned markets/region to win in the CSD category.
  • Improve account penetration and retention at the national or corporate level.
  • Negotiate ad schedules and pricing strategies and drive awareness for new product authorization and promotions.
  • Manage a Field Trade Budget in order to drive executional success.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans (JBP) which support business objectives, ensure execution of programs, ad schedules, and pricing strategies throughout the network to drive inclusion to bottler aligned programs and business plans.
  • Ensure business plan and marketing activities are developed to deliver volume, profit, and customer satisfaction commitments made to all stakeholders during business acquisition and/or stewardship planning.
  • Work cross-functionally with other divisions to deliver customer-specific solutions.
  • Solve operational or executional issues with customers, or bottlers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or sales related field
  • 3-5 years of beverage or consumer products experience
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools
  • A proven track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Occasionally perform physical activity as required (merchandising and equipment placing)
