Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Quality Analyst (BQA) – Consumer Goods Retail Execution who brings deep retail execution expertise and a strong focus on quality. This hybrid role bridges business analysis and quality assurance to ensure Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud solutions meet business needs, support realworld field execution, and are delivered with high quality. The BQA serves as a domain expert and quality gatekeeper, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define clear acceptance criteria and validate solutions end to end.

As a Senior Engineer, you will…

  • Act as the retail execution domain expert, ensuring Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions support realworld field workflows such as store visits, tasks, surveys, promotions, and Perfect Store execution
  • Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and translate retail execution needs into clear, testable acceptance criteria
  • Serve as a quality gatekeeper, validating that solutions are not only technically sound but operationally usable by field sales and merchandising teams
  • Design and execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across CG Cloud and related field/mobile capabilities
  • Plan and implement testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality.
  • Identify gaps early in the delivery lifecycle to reduce rework, defects, and downstream business impact
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, System Integrators, and QA resources to triage defects, validate fixes, and certify release readiness
  • Collaborate and share lessons learned regarding performance and reliability issues with all stakeholders including developers, other SREs, operations teams, and project management teams.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and golive readiness discussions
  • Provide input into release decisions by assessing business readiness, execution risk, and quality outcomes
  • Ensure delivered functionality aligns with retail execution KPIs and operational success metrics, not just stated requirements
  • Oversee, design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities using continuous integration/continuous delivery toolsets and automation.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $97,000 - $135,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:

  • Typically, 8+ years of experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of DSD industry experience
  • Demonstrated handson experience with Consumer Goods retail execution processes, such as store visits, merchandising, promotions, tasks, surveys, and instore compliance
  • Experience working with Salesforce platforms, preferably Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud or comparable field execution solutions. Familiarity with mobile or offline execution scenarios
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria
  • Strong experience executing functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) from a businessuser perspective
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to identify gaps, risks, and edge cases early to protect solution quality and business outcomes
