Job Overview:

Keurig Dr Pepper, Inc. (KDP) is seeking a business-minded and self-motivated Paralegal to be based out of its corporate offices at Frisco, Texas. The Paralegal will be an integral member of the KDP Legal Department.  

Primary responsibilities of the role will be to support KDP’s international in-house legal team with strategic projects, corporate reorganization, corporate structures and legal entity management, as well as contract review, drafting and supporting in-house attorneys with contracting processes.  

Success in this role will come from exceptional paralegal skills, organizational skills, communication skills, initiative to take on diverse responsibilities across the KDP Legal Department, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Sr Director – Corporate Counsel (International Legal). 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Play an integral role within the KDP Legal Department and the International Legal team of three Corporate Counsel (based in Frisco, Texas and Ireland), in close interaction with the KDP International business teams, to support strategic projects, corporate reorganization, corporate structures and legal entity management. 
  • Draft agreements for the KDP Legal Department, the International Legal team and internal clients, and coordinate contract workflow through manual and electronic processes. 
  • Continually improve contract workflow processes to identify efficiencies and facilitate timely execution of agreements. Update legal templates and processes and assist with the review, management and organization of template contracts and contractual language. 
  • Participate in process improvement and budget management efforts. 
  • General support to the KDP Legal Department and the International Legal team, including drafting letters, drafting contracts and other commercial documents.  
  • Provide administrative and direct support to the International Legal team on continuous improvement, efficiency initiatives and improving service provided to the KDP business teams. 
  • As required and/or directed, coordinate with outside counsel, KDP attorneys, other KDP functions and counterparts in other departments. 
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. 

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $70,500 -$105,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.  
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant in-house or law firm paralegal experience.  
  • High degree of familiarity with legal entity management and commercial contract drafting. 
  • Experience supporting commercial contract lifecycle management and document management systems.  
  • Experience working internationally with geographically and culturally diverse teams.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong business judgment, and ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines outside of and within a team. 
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and new areas.  
  • Proficiency with relevant Microsoft Office software programs, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Ability to handle high volume and work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize among competing deadlines. 
  • Willingness to travel as necessary but minimal.
