Job Overview:

The Manager of Brand Integrations is responsible for translating brand strategies into large-scale, tentpole programs that drive scalable commercial impact. This role focuses on executing brand strategies through the creation and execution of key retail initiatives, brand partnerships, consumer activation events, and other high-visibility activations. This manager works cross-functionally to ensure these efforts are seamlessly integrated into the broader marketing and commercial ecosystems, reinforcing brand equity at every touchpoint through strategic thinking and hands-on activation.

The ideal Manager of Brand Integrations:

  • Combines strategic thinkingcreativity with commercial discipline, cross-functional leadership with genuine respect for diverse expertise

  • Possesses retail knowledge and fluency in both shopper and consumer insights

  • Demonstrates authentic passion for consumerbehavior through obsessive curiosity about evolving behaviors, cultural movements, and current and future trends

  • Can establish clear KPIs and postmortem evaluation processes that measure program success, extract insights, and continuously improve execution

  • Elevates tentpoles into brand-building moments that connect consumer insight → creative storytelling → retail activation → measurable business impact

  • Shows drive to push work forward, judgement to make smart calls under ambiguity, and influence to rally teams around excellence

  • Leads withconfidence

These don’t disqualify but patterns should give pause:

  • Tactical thinker, not strategic:Can't connect activations to broader business objectives or explain the "why" behind decisions—only describes what they did, not why it mattered.

  • Can't distinguish shopper vs. consumer insightsspeaks generically, shows no curiosity about trends, and hasn't done recent retail/shopper observation.

  • Describes "managing" instead of "influencing," escalates problems rather than solving them, and can'tdemonstrate leading peers across functions without direct reports.

  • Passive and reactive: Waits for direction, accepts "good enough" work, blames others when things fail, and shows low ownership or energy about past results

  • Hides behind "we" instead of owning "I": Constantly says "we did this" or "the team achieved that" without articulating their specific contribution, decision-making role, or personal accountability for outcomes—signals lack of ownership mentality.

  • Uncomfortable with business metrics: Vague about ROI/KPIs, can't discuss building business cases or defending budgets, and relies only on soft metrics without connecting to business outcomes.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $96,800 - $120,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • 6+ years CPG or agency adjacent

  • Brand Management or Shopper/Retail Marketing

  • Brand Partnership or Sponsorship Marketing

  • Brand Strategy or Account Leadership

  • Field or Experiential Marketing

  • Category Management

The Classic CPG Track:

  • Assistant Brand Manager → Associate Brand Manager → Brand Manager → this role

  • Develops all core competencies in integrated way

The Shopper/Retail-to-Brand Track: (CPG or Agency)

  • Shopper Marketing Coordinator → Manager → this role

  • Strong retail/commercial foundation, may need brand strategy development

The Agency-to-Client Track:

  • Account Executive → Account Supervisor→ this role

  • Strong strategic/creative skills, needs CPG/retail immersion
