Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our winning sales team. The RSM will report to the Senior Director of Sales and is responsible for the overall development of volume, revenue, share and team capabilities within the assigned geographic area with numerous distributor partners across a large geographic area in the Western US & Hawaii.  Their portfolios vary across our CSD and premium still business.  The RSM may have one territory sales manager as a direct report.   The Regional Sales Manager will drive the business strategy and disciplines required to manage an effective coverage program supporting the KDP/distributor partnerships while operating within assigned budgets and compliance disciplines. He/she will also accountable for developing and implementing pricing agreements (as applicable), promotion, and marketing strategies for the various regions/divisions.

Location: Remote: Utah, Montana or Idaho

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and influence relationships and execution with assigned distributors across Sales, Operations, Retail and Marketing functions
  • Ability to analyze syndicated data and other internal selling tools to create insights and action for our distributor partners
  • Build, sell, and manage account strategies and plans with selling partners for key accounts and business channels
  • Build relationships with distributor supply chain and ordering leads to influence product supply and orders
  • Builds and implements programs and market initiatives for their region that can be implemented throughout the network and will affect the long-term growth of the organization
  • Lead, develop and motivate a TSM in order to achieve corporate KPI’s across brands
  • Coach TSM in their selling techniques and territory management
  • Communicate sales plans, sales targets, and track the execution of team objectives
  • Manage team territory coverage plan
  • Lead weekly team sales meetings, as well as plan and lead regional meetings
  • Work as a key point of contact between bottler sales operations and internal KDP field sales team for execution priorities
  • Provide regular communication with sales director on team results, employee relations, and competitive activity in the market
  • Responsible for the management of regional budgets & monthly/annual forecasting
  • HR accountability for performance reviews, recruitment and training.
  • Collaborate internally with key stakeholders to improve processes, route to market strategy and elevate business acumen

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
      • 10+ years with bachelor's
      • 7+ years with master's
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sales Team Leadership
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Experience with non-alcoholic beverage industry preferred
  • Ability to manage and analyze sales data; trade/business analytics
  • Ability to work in extremely fast-paced and evolving hyper-growth environment
  • Experience working successfully within the constraints of a growing business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Syndicated Data
