Temporary Start-Up Schedule

During the facility start-up phase, this position will work:

  • Monday–Thursday: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM (10-hour shifts)

  • Alternating Fridays: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM (6-hour shifts)

Upon completion of the start-up phase, this position will transition to a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician III, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, rebuilding, and maintaining complex manufacturing and support equipment. Working with minimal supervision, you will help ensure equipment reliability while maintaining compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.

This role also serves as a technical resource by training, mentoring, and providing guidance to other maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle complex manufacturing and support equipment.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, PLCs, and high-speed packaging equipment.

  • Complete preventive maintenance and other proactive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, vendors, and other stakeholders.

  • Work with equipment manufacturers and service providers to resolve technical issues.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • Follow all company, departmental, regulatory, and safety policies and procedures.

  • Support fellow maintenance technicians as workload and priorities require.

  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.

  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Total Rewards:
  • Starting pay: $42.33  per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $44.57 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

  • Shift Premium: Additional pay of $1.00/hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and $2.00/hour on Fridays and Saturdays.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo drive programming, preferably Allen-Bradley.

  • Experience with robotic control systems, preferably GE Fanuc, is preferred.

  • Understanding of industrial control systems, computer systems, and industrial networks.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

  • Ability to obtain operator certification on designated equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on ladders and aerial lifts up to 60 feet, as required.

  • Ability to wear OSHA-approved personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Ability to regularly bend, reach, stretch, and lift.

  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.

  • Ability to consistently work in a safe, professional, and team-oriented manner.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and production needs.
