The Sales Execution Manager (SEM) reports to the National Account Executive-HEB and is responsible for driving superior in-store execution and sales performance for Keurig Dr Pepper’s DSD portfolio across H-E-B stores. This role serves as the primary field-facing leader and relationship manager, partnering closely with store leadership and H-E-B regional merchants to execute sales volume, revenue, and internal KPI’s established by KDP Leadership.
This is the remote position with the ideal candidate based in San Antonio, TX or Houston, TX The role requires 60% in market travel within the state of TX.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with H-E-B store leaders, regional merchants, and KDP Field Sales teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executional excellence within assigned stores and regions.
- Influence customer decisions through trust-based relationships and fact-based selling.
Sales Execution & Merchandising
- Ensure flawless execution of authorized pricing, promotions, planograms, and displays.
- Monitor in-store supply conditions and quickly resolve execution gaps to maximize sales; communication of supply concerns back to internal KDP team to prevent future sales losses.
Presentations & Communication
- Deliver data-driven presentations to store leadership and HEB regional merchant teams.
- Clearly communicate brand strategies, promotional priorities, and executional expectations both internally and externally.
- Translate insights and analytics into actionable recommendations for the field and HEB stores.
Decision Making & Problem Solving
- Use sales data, market trends, and store-level insights to make informed decisions in real time.
- Prioritize opportunities that deliver the greatest impact to volume, revenue, and profitability for both HEB and KDP.
- Effectively address challenges related to inventory, space, and execution.
Territory Management
- Plan and manage priorities across Texas; weekly, monthly, quarterly
- Balance store-level execution with regional initiatives and administrative responsibilities.
- Ensure consistent coverage and follow-through across all assigned locations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with DSD delivery, merchandising, and internal sales teams to drive improved execution
- Provide feedback to leadership on customer needs, competitive activity, and execution opportunities.
Excel Skills
- Ability to develop and manipulate Excel documents effectively to track, analyze, and report on internal and external KPIs.
- Ability to interpret Excel-based insights and translate findings into actionable next steps in a timely manner.
Total Rewards:
- Salary range: $86,000 - $130,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
- 5+ years of CPG, DSD, or retail sales experience; H-E-B experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at the store and regional level.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, multi category environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience using sales data and performance metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs and work flexible hours as needed.
