Job Overview:

The National Account Executive – Packaged Beverages serves as the central communication hub for the Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) Packaged Beverages (PB) Route to Market supporting the Walmart business. This role is responsible for connecting strategy to execution across the Packaged Beverage Route to Market System by driving clear, consistent communication of priorities, performance expectations, and field execution standards.

Operating at the intersection of sales, operations, and field execution, this leader ensures alignment across Walmart Home Office, KDP leadership, and the Packaged Beverage field organization. The role focuses on improving service levels, enhancing execution against Walmart KPIs, and accelerating issue resolution through structured communication, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination.

This position works in close partnership with the Business Transformation Team to ensure operational initiatives, tools, and processes are translated into practical, repeatable execution across the Field Team.  

Key Responsibilities

Packaged Beverage Route to Market Communication & Alignment

  • Serve as the primary communication hub for all Packaged Beverage Route to Market activity related to the Walmart business.
  • Translate KDP Walmart priorities into clear, actionable direction for the Packaged Beverage field organization.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across Home Office, Field Teams, and Bottling Partners. Build structured communication framework to improve speed, clarity, and execution consistency

Performance Management & KPI Tracking

  • Monitor and communicate performance against key Walmart KPIs, including: In-Stock performance
  • On Time / In Full (service metrics)
  • OPD (Online Pickup & Delivery) compliance Online Pickup & Delivery) compliance

Provide regular performance updates and insights to leadership and field teams

  • Leverage POS and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support development of scorecards and reporting tools that drive accountability and transparency
  • Field Execution & Priority Communication
  • Communicate key commercial priorities, initiatives, and execution requirements to the Packaged Beverages field organization
  • Ensure alignment to promotional execution, modular resets, and new item launches
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive consistent, high-quality in-store execution
  • Develop and deliver clear “what good looks like” guidance for field teams

Service & Issue Resolution Leadership

  • Act as a liaison between Walmart stores, Walmart Home Office, and Packaged Beverage field teams to resolve service-related issues
  • Identify root causes of service gaps and coordinate cross-functional action plans
  • Drive faster issue escalation and resolution through standardized processes
  • Support post-mortem reviews and continuous improvement actions to prevent repeat issues

Cross-Functional Coordination & Transformation Support

  • Partner closely with the Business Transformation Team to operationalize new processes, tools, and capabilities
  • Support rollout and adoption of transformation initiatives across the Packaged Beverage Route to Market
  • Help translate complex operational strategies into field-ready execution plans
  • Contribute to process simplification, improved communication flows, and scalable execution models

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with Walmart, KDP leadership, and Packaged Beverage field teams
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for Route to Market performance and execution insights
  • Influence partners through data-driven insights and structured problem solving
  • Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholders to drive business outcomes

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range $116,100 - $160,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Operations, or CPG
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, or route-to-market environments (DSD preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Walmart operating environment and performance expectations
  • Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced retail environments
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel and data management capabilities
