Sr Procurement Operations Analyst

The Procurement Senior Analyst supports KDP Global Sourcing by ensuring strong end-to-end service performance, resolving issues, and driving ongoing process improvements. The role has a strong SAP focus, requiring hands-on experience with SAP MM to manage procurement transactions, monitor material and purchase order flows, and improve operational execution across suppliers and manufacturing plants.
A key responsibility is serving as a subject‑matter expert for SAP-enabled procurement processes, with deep working knowledge of SAP MM and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC). This includes supporting system rollout, supplier enablement, troubleshooting transactional issues, and driving continuous optimization across purchase orders, master data, goods movements, and supplier collaboration workflows. The Analyst partners closely with IT, Category Management, Finance, and Master Data teams to maintain data integrity, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with broader business requirements.
The position also contributes to major integration initiatives, supports project milestones, and advances governance, analytics, and operational efficiency across KDP Global Sourcing. The management and mentoring of external support resources is also a function of this role.
Responsibilities
Drive Procurement Operations Excellence
- Monitor SAP purchase orders and drive supplier alignment to plant service levels
- Partner with GBS Process Owners and IT to resolve regional process issues
- Identify root causes of SAP issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive process improvements that improve service and reduce cost
- Lead continuous improvement in governance, analytics, and reporting
Manage Supplier Relationships
- Manage critical supplier relationships and resolve open order issues
- Lead performance reviews focused on KPIs and issue resolution
- Partner with Category Managers, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams
- Resolve complex supplier delivery and order issues
Partner with Manufacturing Plants
- Build strong relationships with key manufacturing plants
- Monitor shipments and identify plant performance gaps
- Lead plant performance reviews focused on KPIs and open orders
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to close gaps and mitigate risk
Lead Ariba SCC Management
- Support rollout and optimization of SAP MM and Ariba SCC
- Serve as SME for SAP MM and Ariba SCC process questions
- Partner with IT to troubleshoot system issues
- Identify system improvement opportunities
Support Supplier Enablement
- Lead supplier enablement with suppliers and Category Managers
- Deliver enablement milestones, supplier targets, and spend goals
- Ensure supplier compliance and resolve onboarding and transaction issues
- Remove barriers to enablement and support long-term adoption
- Act as secondary SME for SAP MM, Ariba SCC, master data, and systems reconciliation

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Technology
- 5+ years of experience in Direct Materials Procurement
- Strong hands-on, super user experience with SAP MM is required, including procurement transactions, purchase order processing, material master data, and issue resolution in SAP
- Experience working with SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Solid data analytics skills to obtain insights and determine the required actions. An intermediate level of Power BI knowledge is required.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders, external customers, and suppliers
