Production Lead

The Production Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production personnel on multiple high-speed packaging lines. This role provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and experienced in leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts & Schedule: This full-time position will be supporting our Night Shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm.  Additional flexibility to work overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coach production operators to execute daily and weekly production schedules.

• Ensure beverage packaging operations meet safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction goals.

• Manage within established labor and operating expense budgets.

• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of all equipment and safe working conditions.

• Complete and maintain accurate production documentation and records.

• Analyze production data to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.

• Recommend long-term solutions for equipment, materials, processes, and productivity enhancements.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.

• Ensure standardized work processes are followed and corrective actions are implemented.

• Promote a team-oriented environment and develop direct reports through mentoring and problem-solving.

• Drive skills development and capability building within the team.

• Pay starting at $29.50 per hour.

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.

• Hands-on experience with high-speed production machinery and quality monitoring.

• Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
