The Senior HR Technology Engineer at KDP is a strategic, senior-level technical role responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing complex HR technology solutionsthroughAlteryx, Workday Integrations & Kainos. This position coordinate HR transformation initiatives, ensures data integrity, and drives operational excellence through advanced automation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be based in Frisco, TX but will also consider candidates in other locations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Alteryx enhancements between Workday and other HR & Payroll tools
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced Workday integrations (EIBs, custom APIs, Studio) for HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance across global operations.
- Serve as technical lead for HR technology projects, overseeing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Manage advanced testing and quality assurance processes, including Kainos Smart Test, regression testing, and release management.
- Lead integration efforts with ancillary systems (e.g., Kronos, ICIMS, Motus, Gallagher, Beeline), ensuring secure API access and compliance for sensitive data.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and Power BI.
- Ensure compliance with privacy impact assessments (PIA), internal policies, and regulatory requirements for personal data handling.
- Resolve escalated Tier 2 and Tier 3 myHR tickets, providing expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Champion digital transformation by identifying opportunities to modernize HR technology and processes in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Lead end-user training initiatives, develop technical documentation, and promote adoption of self-service capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, COEs, and IT to align HR technology solutions with business objectives.
Total Rewards:
- Salary range $76,800 - $133,800
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Integrations, Alteryx & Kainos,
- Hands on with Jira, ServiceNow, and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Workday certifications in HCM, Reporting, Integrations, and Studio highly desirable.
- Proven experience leading large-scale HR technology projects and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong understanding of global HR processes, compliance, and data privacy regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Workday System Architecture, Configuration, EIBs, Studio, API development, RPA tools (e.g., Alteryx), Change Control
- Data Analytics: Advanced Excel, Data Manipulation, Trend Analysis, and Identification
- Visualization & Reporting: Power BI, Insight Driven Reporting, Report Writer
