Job Overview:

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Systems Engineer who can support the development, enhancements, and maintenance to KDP software solutions.

As a Manufacturing Technology Systems Engineer, you will…

  • Partner with Operating Technology (OT) teams to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement of OT systems.
  • Drive improvement in Technology Infrastructure systems to support the stability and effective and efficient onboarding of new OT systems.
  • Partner with enterprise and local OT stakeholders to develop, refine and implement an OT systems roadmap.
  • Manage and maintain data collection servers and software, developing new data collection strategies and integration into enterprise reporting systems.
  • Connect shop floor equipment to enterprise systems and design applications to enhance efficiency.
  • Improve OT security through collaboration with KDP Tech Security Operations team to define and implement best practices.
  • Lead upgrade planning and execution.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve any issues in functionality or interoperability of new applications.
  • Support legacy systems, technology, processes and manage technology debt.
  • Work on multiple cross-functional initiatives and lead one or more product teams.
  • Monitor performance and identify errors and remediation.
  • Drive the analysis and design of technical solutions related to an application, platform, or service.
  • Develop complex product/solutions to support value creation, growth, and delivery of exceptional business results.

Who you are:

  • Experience with control systems such as GE iFix, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware, and Rockwell technologies.
  • Strong OT Network concepts including DMZ’s, secure remote access.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for OT environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and planning skills.
  • Expert knowledge of software design concepts, application servers, middleware applications and other software-related tools and concepts.
  • Expert knowledge of programming languages like Javascript, C++, Python, Java etc.
  • Leading skills in DevOps, and cloud native application architecture.
  • Expert ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
  • Expert ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.
  • Expert ability to be flexible in behaviors and work practices and respond to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Expert ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
  • Proven ability to provide indirect leadership to teams executing technical work.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically, 5+ years of experience as a developer.
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
