Shift & Schedule: Full-time, First Shift, 5:30am-2pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments, returns, order and product management, carrier coordination, and customer service. This role ensures systematic handling of finished goods and raw material orders while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check in and out truck drivers promptly using Carrier Point (Ryder logistics software)

  • Accurately process all shipment transactions, including legal documentation

  • Assign dock doors and coordinate loading/unloading with material handlers

  • Prepare and complete Bills of Lading, ensuring proper signatures are obtained

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping office, including filing duties

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies

  • Contribute to process improvements to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or shipping/receiving

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (1+ year)

  • Experience with automated warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manugistics)
