We are looking for a Business Development Repto join our team in Calgary.

The Business Development Representative is an integral part of the sales, service and delivery team. The right candidate brings a high level of energy and creativity mixed with passion for building strong relationships with new customers.

Responsible for developing new beverage business accounts within Calgary and the surrounding areas, the BDR will:

  • Identify and connect with potential customers to develop and nurture new business relationships.
  • Manage their territory through a defined plan that includes a blend of prospecting, cold calling and networking, while logging his/her activity via CRM (i.e. Salesforce).
  • Prepare and present customized solutions to meet the needs of each client’s situation.
  • Work closely with internal team members to ensure seamless onboarding and service to new clients.


Total Rewards:

CAD $54,400.00 - $66,000.00 / year base plus commission.

This is a commission-eligible role. In addition to base salary, employees may earn variable commission based on gross profit generated from new business, under the applicable commission plan. Commission earnings are performance-based and paid periodically. Total compensation may vary.

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility. Benefits, subject to eligibility: medical, dental, disability, life insurance, paid time off (including vacation and personal time), RRSP with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee and family assistance program, and coffee discount.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ successful sales experience with an emphasis on Business Development and cold calling.
  • University/College degree preferred; combination of work experience and education accepted.

  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Polished professional with a consultative business approach.
  • Positive, proactive and goal-oriented individual who enjoys working with people both in-person and over the phone.
  • Creative problem solver who loves winning and believes in continual learning to stay at the top of their game.
  • Adaptable to change and the opportunities it represents.
  • Exceptional organization and customer service skills including sound methods for follow up.
  • Computer skills (familiar with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
