Warehouse Worker Lead -Allentown, PA

The Warehouse Worker Lead is responsible for checking built loads for accuracy, loading trucks, unloading trucks, and any and all everyday cleaning.  The Warehouse Worker Lead will act as a Loader if needed.   

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on Daysworking our 12 hr shift schedule working on a 2-2-3 rotation. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required. 
Days (2-2-3) shift:
6:00am-7:00pm
  • Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday 

Position Responsibilities

  • Accurately build outgoing loads for placement on route delivery trucks.
  • May load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required.
  • Directs daily workflow of a team.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and calibrate instrumentation
  • Team-player attitude with well-developed interpersonal skills and comfort in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Mechanical orientation with the ability to solve problems and implement change
  • Strong communication and writing skills and ability to conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrections

Total Rewards:
  • Pay starting at $25.69 per hour

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 2+ years of experience using SAP or a similar system
